of administrative leadership and collaboration with international NGOs. |

Shovon Kibria is a Healthcare IT consultant at Arcadia Solutions. He was President of the Brown University International Scholarship Committee and brings fundraising and marketing experience through his work creating endowments for international student scholarships. He is interested in promoting human development by bringing educational opportunities for underprivileged students, emphasizing the use of basic modern technology. |
SECRETARY: James Littlefield![]() James A. Littlefield, PE, is a professional computer systems consultant with specialization in the areas of telecommunications and electronic control systems. He has extensive knowledge of emerging technologies and their potential relevance to educational projects. |
| DIRECTOR : Dr. Sajed Kamal Sajed Kamal, EdD, is an Adjunct Lecturer in the Sustainable International Development Program at Brandeis University, Massachusetts, USA, and has been a lecturer and consultant on renewable energy internationally, setting up projects in the United States, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Armenia and El Salvador. He is also an award-winning poet, artist, translator, psychotherapist, educational consultant, and author of a dozen books and many articles in a wide range of areas. In 2007, he was awarded Boston “Mayor’s First Annual Green Award for Community Leadership in Energy and Climate Protection,” and in 2008, a “Lifetime Achievement Award” by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The “Greener Issue” of The Boston Sunday Globe Magazine on September 28, 2008, featured him as one of the “Six local heroes whose work is having rippling effects—at home and far away—in making the world a better place.” |
| DIRECTOR : Dr. Patricia Rieker ![]() Dr. Rieker is an Adjunct Professor of Sociology at Boston University and an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. A medical sociologist, Dr. Rieker specializes in gender and health disparities and consults with the Centers for Disease Control designing evaluations of public health interventions. She brings knowledge of the field of public health as well as expertise in program evaluation to the work of SAMSK, Inc. |
